Planning and Development Services Director
Under general direction of the City-County Planning Board and the City and County Managers, performs complex professional work planning, directing, coordinating and supervising planning, permitting, code enforcement and building inspection programs, services, staff and functions, maintaining records and files, preparing reports, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work involves setting policies and goals under the direction of the Assistant City Manager. Departmental supervision is exercised over all personnel within the department.
