STUDENT TRAINEE (ADMINISTRATION) - OMS

This position is in Office of Mission Support. The location will be determined after a selection has been made for this position; if selected, you must work at one of the locations stated in this announcement.

Salary will be based on the grade level for which you are selected and the duty location.

Enrolled students or individuals who have been accepted for enrollment seeking a diploma, certificate, bachelor’s degree, graduate degree, or professional degree from a qualifying educational institution on a full- or half-time basis, including awardees of the Harry S. Truman Foundation Scholarship Program.

Duties


You will:

  • Collect data from referenced sources within the office and incorporates it into typed/computer generated material.
  • Compares basic information to established requirements to identify and correct errors and omissions in files and documents: searching, compiling and arranging data in a usable format, identifying facts, considering relevance to the assignment.
  • Uses several types of office automation tools, such as word processing, graphics, spreadsheets, and database management skills to compile and manipulate information into various formats.
  • Assembles materials for staff associated with briefings, conferences, and meetings.
