I really loved the atmosphere of the company. They are fun loving people and have your best intention in mind. I could never say anything bad about the people at Medix.
What I wish was different
I wish I had lived closer so that my commute was not as long.
Advice
To make sure you have great organizational skills! The job is extremely fast moving so you need to keep tabs on everything you do.

What I liked
During Covid, the healthcare field had been impacted in many ways. Being a healthcare recruiter allowed to me to help people find jobs and more importantly, change lives. Helping staff vaccine clinics, reforming hospitals and medical facilities. And ultimately working with people to generate business for Medix and also hearing personal stories and helping people get back to work after Covid.
What I wish was different
Nothing! The overall atmosphere of Medix was great. Everyone on the team was great and helped me ease into the position and get adjusted to work environment.
Advice
Be willing to try new things. Recruiting wasn't exactly what I had in mind for an internship however, it directly correlated to sales. Keeping an open mind about work is important because it helps you realize what kind of environment and career you want to be in.
